Richard Stallman spoke about the goals and philosophy of the Free Software Movement, and the status and history of the GNU operating system, which in combination with the kernel Linux is now used by tens of millions of users world-wide.

Richard Stallman is the principal author of the GNU C Compiler, the GNU symbolic debugger (GDB), GNU Emacs, and various other GNU programs. Stallman currently serves as president of the Free Software Foundation. He is the author of the GNU General Public License (GPL), which is intended to guarantee your freedom to share and change free software -- to make sure the software is free for all its users.

Audio file of whole speech

One can get ogg vorbis audio file (2hours 43MB) of whole talk plus some of QnA after via Bit Torrent

Get Bit Torrent download client.
Note there are other Bit Torrent clients.

Bit Torrent gives a download that is can be more easily resumed. So could even use over several long dial up sessions.

Then open .torrent file and save audio file to same dir.
