A protest took place in waterloo international train station (and detention center) to highlight the ubiquity of borders and for freedom of movement.

The ptotst first took place outside the gates of the international terminal, then moved inside well beyond the passport contols. The samba kept playing while the eurostar passagers got off their train, and went though without any ID checks. The police tried to stop protesters from leaving the station, but thanks to the solidarity and strong spirit of the participants no one was blocked or arrested.
